William Cullen, demonstrated the first artificial refrigerator in 1748 at the University of Glascow. He did understand the concept of a refrigerator and what they can do. He didn't put of his findings to any practical use. But many people around the world appreciate him.

Oliver Evans

Oliver Evans was a full American. He was much like William Cullen in some ways. Oliver Evans designed the first refrigeration machine. It wasn't neccasarily a refrigerator but it was something very close to it.

Jacob Perkins

 Jacob Perkins made the first patent for a refrigerating machine in 1834. Most of his machine was based off of what William Cullen designed.The refrigerating machine was mostly and ice producer. Seeing as to there was already an ice company at the time, his machine didn't get out much.

Carl von Linde

 Carl von Linde is a very importan man. He was born on June 11,1842 in Berndorf, Germany.  He created the first refrigerator in 1876. As a very good German engineer he spent most of his time creating the refrigerator. He too, is very much appreciated all around the world by a lot of people .
